Bmw Airbag Driver Stage 2. the airbag module can not see the stage 2 of the airbag in the steering wheel. Possible cause is the sliprings/contact ring in the steering column. new shock + springs, new rims and tires + new steering wheel (which i´m having an issue with). so i found out about the airbag situation when i bought the cable off fleabay, but in a couple of months of checking the. even after a minor accident the airbag may not deploy but the seat belts will lock and airbag module will need to be reset because of crash data and crash. i bought a 2015 bmw 528i, few month later got into an accident where 3 airbags were deployed ; Never work on the airbag. basically, these errors mean that the airbag ecu is not seeing both of the airbag's 2.2ohm resistances that it should.
